Well played Parky, pitty he did not play us like what Bradford did. They played like a team, passed well and tacticfully they were brilliant.

He hasn't suddenly become a masterful manager over night. He's one of the best lower league managers going.
  • Lambo 5/1 for next manager to be sacked - quick!

Will we ever do something like this? If so, When?

Great for Parky. Great bloke, Good manager.

Never thought I would feel envious of Bradford but I do tonight, not cause they arew going to Wembley but the passion and sheer delight tonight will have created

"Bradford City are the first fourth- tier club to progress to the semifinal in the League Cup since Wycombe in 2006-07.

The manager of the Chairboys at that time? Paul Lambert."

And we all know who they beat in the quarters that year, don't we?

No, no, no, no , aaaaargh ! Yes .... sob sob sob

  • Well done Parky, great stuff.
  • After wycombe mate i never felt so fukd off with football
  • Envious?
    U bet I am!
  • Only switched over at 9pm but what I saw from City was some lovely passing football & a fantastic win.

    Well done, Sir Phil !

Will have SO many football fans willing them to take the silverware back to Bradford !

Well done Phil. Your a bloody good manager as some of us knew .

    This
  • Parkie is going to be well peed off, they have soaked his jumper in champagne, now his mums going to have to wash it
  • Was that really Stephen Ireland the ex man city player? Looks like he is stealing his living pretending to be a pro footballer. Well done to Bradford and Parky. First half they looked like they could struggle with Duke making a string of fine saves. Second half they took the game to Villa and earned their place in the final. Anyone that says it will be a dull final need to look at who Bradford beat to get there to know they aren't going to roll over.
  • He is a div 4 footballer they will make mistakes

He's not. He's on loan from West Ham.

Stephen Ireland is the classic "Could not give a toss" footballer, been earning megabucks for about seven years now at Citeh, Barcodes and now Villa and has barely put in a decent performance since he left City.
  • Appleton to take the Villa job?
  • It would serve Lambert right for the way he left Norwich if he got the boot.

The city of Bradford will be absolutely buzzing very nice with Leeds joined at the hip next door.

Many a true word spoken in jest! This could be the chance for Curbs to get back into the Premiership, I can't see how Lambert can stay in the job after this debacle.
  • If Lambert survives this latest defeat then surely he'll be gone after a defeat against Millwall on Friday night?

Villa are surely bound for the Championship?

Just one or two ahead of LCC I'd wager. Starting with Nigel Adkins. Actually I think Gus
Poet gets the next big club in the Prem. Whatever has happened to Villa this season ad regardless of where they end up, they are a big club.
  • Lets hope Millwall don't do Villa in the FA Cup. We won't hear the last of it will we!
  • Bradford have now beaten more premier league teams this season than QPR.

Adkins seems the sort of bloke who might want to 'pick' a club rather than take the first job on offer, as for Poyet - he has done a lot of work at Brighton and the project is not yet complete, would he leave for a basket case like Villa?

This Millwall - Villa game is excruciating, I want Lambert sacked as I can't stand him but would hate to see Scumwall claim his scalp.

He left Colchester in a similar way to join Norwich. Worked out for him there but totally gone tits up at Villa. It's a funny old game football.
