Joey Barton was arrested arrested for aaault according to SSN. Trouble is he's the kinda player who seems to thrive on controversy. Probably going to step up a couple of gears now for the rest of the season. At least with his excellent character a custodial sentence is unlikely.

    Apparently he assaulted a taxi-driver in Liverpool, looks like he was on trial for them or something.
