    Went to Preston to do a Powell, i.e. shake things up, sign a new team etc. It didn't work...

    Westley had taken to doing the first team training on the pitch at Deepdale, allegedly in order to churn it up a bit and prevemt opposition teams playing football and passing round them.
    PNE's groundsman, who has won awards for the Deepdale pitch, kicked up a stink and walked out, apparently joining Bolton."
    Might explain the state of our pitch :-)
