Arsenal played a weakened team ahead of the CL game in midweek. Oops, Mr. Wenger.

(...just realised what I said with CL. Who wants to play up front with me? Who's a fat bugger we can put in goal?)

    GOOOOOOOOOOAL

Oldham score a 94th minute equaliser for 2-2! FT 2-2. What a result for Oldham.

Oldham/Everton game was a cracking match. Delighted Blackburn knocked out Arsenal out as well.

Oldham played really well last 10 mins. Mixed up good football with direct football.
Strange they can't perform like that for their fans in the league.

That was quality when oldham got that last minute equaliser. Any other time of the game though I reckon any ref would give a foul on the keeper.

The amount of added time shown at 90min is the MINIMUM amount of time to be added.

Top league players (not clubs) really don't care about domestic cups anymore do they?

I reckon players like Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard and Terry do.

In Europe the real top players like Messi and Ronaldo play in all their respective cup games. Cups that we are constantly told are nothing compared to the greatest cup competition in the world, the FA Cup.

I think it's more the managers in this country that are not bothered by the cups. Also we are the only country that treats the Europa League with such disrespect.

I understand that, just wanted to point out how deep into added on time they were. I reckon the final whistle would've been blown if Howard had claimed that corner ball and hoofed it up the pitch.

Or even if he'd punched it out of the box rather than out for a corner.

What was oldhams keeper doing ... So lucky not to be pulled up for a foul and not getting his fingers to the ball

You can be booked for intent when lunging in whilst attempting a tackle even though you make no contact. Surely he could have been booked for showing intent to handle?

I don't think he was trying to handle, just think he felt a bundle of players push behind him and got a bit theatrical

Chelsea seem to do quite well in it.

Man U/City have played quite strong sides in their ties this season - the latter only really had Hart and an injured sergio aguero missing against us from their main 1st team.

Wenger said he wanted 4th place the most and it showed again...

Adam Forshaw at Brentford looks to be a good prospect. Good attitude too, turned down two year deal at Everton to play regular football.

    Chelsea 0-0 Brentford HT

4th Round Replay so extra time possible at the end of this.
  • Not now, 3-0 is a bit harsh on Brentford

Totally gutted for Brentford, live in ealing and used to live 5 mins walk from griffin park, so they're my local league club. A club on the up, they're building a new 20,000 all seater stadium in kew.

There doesn't look to be more than a couple thousand at Huddersfield.
