Anyone know about fitting sealed aluminium porch doors

My sister who is in her late 60`s has just been quoted £800 + £500 for having a door made and fitted to her property , now i don't know about everyone else but this seems a bit steep ? and to me boarders on a rip off , anyone got a idea of what the going rate it ? it would be much appreciated .

I currently work for Anglian. There's no way even with all my discounts I could do it that cheap for anyone. That's not to say that your price isn't expensive, mainly because Anglian are one of the most expensive on aluminium products, but you were asking about going rate and I suspect we'd be 2k plus.

In fact having just done a check I could actually do an ali door for £ 1668 at the absolute cheapest.
