Some different items up for auction this time but as ever proceeds towards out target £2500 £3000 for the CAFC Academy.
Usual rules. Only bid if you can and are willing to pay. Winner pays postage or collects. Auction ends next Tuesday 26 February at 5.00 pm
Lot A Very Rare London Boys v Western Germany programme. The game was played at the Valley on 27th April 1957. The only name I recognise is A. Mullery. There are a number of tears and marks. Opening bid £4
Lot B Soft back copy of the Simon Inglis classic "The Football Grounds of Great Britain" from 1987. A great read with wonderful photos as reminders of what football grounds used to be. Opening bid £4
Lot C Through the Turnstiles - A hardback book about attendances but also a general history of clubs, grounds and crowd records. I know no one of CL is interested in attendances so opening bid is £4.
Happy bidding

Lot A sounds amazing for any programme buffs out there, if I hadn't carelessly squandered my cash on magic beans this month I'd definitely bid.
Does anyone know more about the game ? Were "London Boys" a team selected from London based professional teams ? So soon after WW2 it must have been very interesting.0 -
London Boys were a London schools select side it seems.
I've no idea what the score was or the crowd.0 -
