    Crowd was 821. Billy Beggs scored for us on his debut (and only game?) and I'm sure it was also Mickey Bennett's debut on the bench - think he came on too.

    I was there. All true Charlton were there.

    Soon afterwards Dirty Den was behind the bar of a (virtually empty) Queen Vic and said, "I've seen more people at a Charlton home game". The murdering c***.

    Went to every round that season. Always remember the Bradford game. Absolutely pissed down and the stewards took pity on the 5-6 Bradford fans who were on the Holmesdale Terrace. Let them in the bit they left empty at the end of the Arthur Waite Terrace.
