Yann Kermorgant - Would You Start Him Versus Millwall?

Been out with a 3 match ban , would you start him against Millwall?

Fullers not hit the heights in his absence although we have picked up 4 points in the last 2 games , Yann could be that fighting spirit we need in a derby game , its a yes for me and i say... 'Unleash the Krakken'

    I would. Most definitely.
  • YES !!!!!!!

I've been at the last 2 games and although you could say that Ric hasn't received great service, it has appeared to me that , unless he has the ball on a plate/at his feet, he doesn't want to know. Very disappointed in himat the minute.

Yann's energy, skill in getting up to high balls and what will be his absolute desire to make up for the red card, make him a cert to start, surely ?

He'd bite clean through a Millwall defender's achilles if Powell asked him to. We want players out there who will fight for every inch on the pitch and understand what the game means. For me that means Solly, Jackson and Yann have to be the first names on the team sheet

100% yes. Wasn't there today but felt we really missed him at Peterborough. He has to play with Haynes for me.

I think Fuller may be a better option off the bench if times are desperate and we need to throw the dice see if he can produce something. It's a shame as if he played like he did at Palace every week he would be the best forward in the league.

Yes. Totally. Fuller needs to drop to the bench. KMG will be raring to go and have something to prove.

Yes, Haynes and Fuller is not working, Haynes would play better with Kermorgant and Fuller has been poor
  • Fuller is the ultimate 'mercurial' player, unstoppable on occasion like at Palace and Blackpool, but invisible on others.

    Absolutely.
  • Big game mentality has Yann. Think he epitomises how each of us would be given the chance to pull on the shirt. Most definitely yes.

Yes, up front with Haynes. I'd be surprised if Chris doesn't' t put him straight in.

More to the point, will Chris start Stephens?

Yann to score a last minute winner against Millwall and truly confirm himself as a Charlton legend of the modern era.

    Sounds good to me.

Be stupid to leave your top scorer out for any game, correct?

I think you have to do your homework and play the strikers your opponents are least comfortable with. We have the options of strength, pace and aerial ability. I'd go for Haynes and Kermogant, with Fuller an impact sub option, but I would want to know about where Millwall's defensive weaknesses lie.

This all day long. Plus Morro. Anyone who takes the time to go to the away game among the fans is surely going to be fired up.

When you have such a dodgy record in a derby game that shows that attitude is surely playing a greater than average role n this fixture.

Fuller seems to have more impact as a sub. So he can come off the bench to take the pee out of fat Danny Shittu late on.
