Would have preferred the replay to be after the Charlton game for more distraction and players not wanting to injure themselves, but having to play up north 3 days before is pretty good as well.

A tough game, draw after 90 minutes, extra time and penalties would be the ticket.

Particularly if they get caught in snow up there.

They could get caught up in snow, lose on penalties & have no fit strikers.....but I still wouldn't back us!

This could be a big advantage to us especially if they lose.

if we beat em -----their legions of fans (no laughing)------------will turn quicker than a pint of milk in an oven-----yes they dont care about us,but if we win they will implode.
  • Wonder if they'll take even less to blackburn than they did to Leeds the other week. 171 loyal souls made that trip.

It is quite amusing that a scummy club like Millwall can play later the same week, but say, Shrewsbury v Grimsby can't! Still it suits us and we are going to tonk them on Saturday.
  • I don't buy into all this "they're playing wednesday so it's better for us". Saturday is another day, another game and history tells us they usually have the upper hand.

Man U played at home on tuesday, Chelsea played away in Romania on thursday, yet in the 2nd half yesterday there was only one side in it and United looked out on their feet. How did the extra rest help them?

If Millwall go to extra time and pens then lose, plus have a man sent off and Shittu carried off injured then i might change my mind though.

  • If it was the other way round We wouldn't be bothered That We were playing mid week. Come kick off time everything becomes irelevent. If We play like we have at home then we are in trouble. This will have to be our Best performance of the season as they are going to be up for it. I Pray we stuff them.

Millwall are just 3 points behind us with two games in hand.

If they can go down so can we and history would suggest that they are more likely than us to pick up 3 points on Saturday if the game is played given their Cup commitments.

Well if hadn't been for Chris Woods, I suspect they'll be bottom 3, so there finding their level at the moment.

If you think we're still at risk of going down, you're high on your own supply
  • 6 of their last 9 games are at home, they'll be fine.

Im not sure some of their lot that went to the Peterborough and Wolves games will be so confident.

  • Realistically they need 3 wins from 11 games and no doubt it'll be 2 from 10 after this weekend.

Never heard of a Saturday game getting called off because a team has had to play on the Wednesday before.

Len Glover in unfounded worrying shocker!

  • Hilarious, 14,500 for a FA Cup Quarter Final at home.

What happened to the 40,000 Spanners that went to Wembley for the Play Offs?

Millwall, the only team in the world whose supporters support the team by not supporting them at all - apart from in the pub on TV.

    Laughable, they have big problems.

What happened to your regular crowds of 26k? Must admit this thread is amusing reading.

We've had games put back before because of our opponents having replays or extra fixtures and requesting more time.

Millwall might well request it as this is a vital relegation six pointer.

There are no dates to rearrange it I. We've got 8 games in April. If we beat Blackburn make it 9 as Palace will be re-arranged to a Tuesday evening if possible.

I don't know, I'd be happy for them to go to Wembley if it meant that they would be relegated at the end of the season!

    I'm not biting Len.

Are you going Saturday? Or are you going to lock yourself indoors and not venture out, just in case?

Quite a few Millwall would be happy with that too I think. I guess the days out at Wembley stick out more in the memory than a few seasons in the championship. Been there so often over the past few years though it's losing it's appeal.

Really? I go to England games so I go to Wembley three or four tines a season and have done since since the new stadium opened. I still love going.

Having said that I don't have to watch so many plastic fans turn up claiming to be real fans when I go!

No chance. Just Lenny getting worried as usual.
