I can only speak for myself but i think most would agree... when that goal went in i felt deflated. like with every millwall game. our record is so poor against them that hope is even less than against any other team to mount a comeback. The only reason i keep going to these derby games is because i don't want to miss the one time we do get a result. how long i will have to wait i don't know but i hope it comes soon cos going to the den is a miserable experience.cafctom said:Hate to say it but the atmosphere at The Den when we played them was 10x that of what we had on Saturday.
A bit like the team on the field, our support seems to absolutely crumble as soon as we let a goal in. It happened against Palace and Millwall even more so than in any of our other 'regular' home games this season.0 -
They were never going to come and destroy the place were they. They showed in huge numbers as just that, a show. They knew Charlton on the whole would not go looking for trouble but were there incase anything happened.
Early kick offs don't help.0 -
I assumed our atmosphere was quieter because most people were sober... what a wash out walking through the village looking at the closed pubs.

A few Millwall giving it 'big style' in Blackheath, but nothing to bad. After the 4-4 game in 2009 I saw a bloke dressed as a Superman get sparked out by a Millwall fan in O'Neills.
The bouncers then removed Superman and his mates (Batman and Green Lantern) from the pub.0 -
You heard right WSS!0

You gotta laugh when you read stuff like this on twitter. this is where Twitter falls down. You're allowing idiots to reach a wider audience.
Smiffy @BillySmithMfc
