Magic paint

Seen the refs using a magic paint spray in south american football to mark out free kicks, where the wall must stand. Seems a no brainer. When are we going to get it? Encroachment goes on all the time and it's blatent cheating.

  • won't happen here.

too much H & S training required for a layman to use an aerosol.
  • It's chalk, not paint and I agree it's a brilliant idea.
  • I need a magic paint that'll do all my walls by itself ..abracadabara
  • I think the same idea, but using a flag as they use in the NFL would be easier to administer.
  • Imagine that. Some games they'd be chalk all over the bloody field.

I like the flag idea Del.

Its magic spray, means it dissapears, they been using it for years and is fckin ridiculously simple idea that would be far to easy to bring into the european game, like goaline technology, oh wait.

If Ribery is in the wall, pepper spray in the face wouldn't go amiss.

"The Football League is to trial the use of Vanishing Spray, as used by match officials at the recent World Cup in Brazil, in this season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Football League Chief Executive, Shaun Harvey, said: "Having seen it used in the recent World Cup, the introduction of Vanishing Spray into the Johnstone's Paint Trophy will give us the opportunity to observe its use in domestic football so that we can better understand its effect on the flow of the game. It will also give us the ability to gauge the opinions of players, managers, referees and fans."

The League will not be using Vanishing Spray in any matches played in the Sky Bet Football League or Capital One Cup during 2014/15, but will consider its introduction at the end of the current campaign."
  • Yeah I saw during the World Cup that the FA and Football League didnt want to use it this season because they wanted more evidence etc...

Is crazy cos how much evidence do you need... It worked on the biggest bloody stage in Football

  • Why in the prem and not the champ, madness!?!?!?

there are Divisions BELOW the Premier League???

I thought it was the world's mission (Certainly Sky's) to ensure that the Premier League was the only Division in existence in England...
  • No doubt sponsored by Gillette.
