  • CAFC at Wembley. Now that's a sentence rarely heard......
  • 1-0 to Crewe
  • Crewe go there all the time, they won the L2 play off final last year. When 4th round cup games start being played at Wembley we're in with a shout.
  • Well done Crewe. Better team.
  • CAFC win the JPTrophy....

Was at the game supporting Southend. The oddest thing about it was 31,000 Southend "fans" there, but hardly any singing. Was a very bizarre atmosphere, mainly due to 90% of the Southend fans being day-trippers and the timing of Crewe's goals.

I thought that aswell the odd cheer but never a chant really, hope if CAFC get there we will be abit louder than that!
  • The ref didnt help. Southend should have had a pen, and identical fouls by either team always seemed to go in Crewes favour. Ah well, heres hoping for a Charlton wembley visit soon....
  • Maybe putting sunbed Brown in charge wasn't the recipie for success that the Southend board anticipated.

Agree. and the SUFC chairman has the nerve to ask Sturrock who he just sacked to manage the team for the final.

  • I missed this amid the weekend excitement, but Golden Brown got his equally pleasant mate, Jeremy Kyle (he of "coming for you" fame) in to do their team talk before the Morcambe game. They lost.
  • "Not many people can say they have had a team talk from Jeremy Kyle! Well we did today haha bit star struck!!"

Starstruck!!!! They met a bloke whose job is to talk down to chavs.
