Having someone sponsor the valley

With money being tight and so many grounds in many sports being renamed is this something the owners should look. How would we feel if we went to the Amex Valley or The Mazda Valley, in today's commercial world the board are surely looking at this type of thing. Just saw United sell the training rights made me think, that's all.

Think it is generally new stadiums that get sponsorships for their names (although no doubt plenty of examples to prove me wrong!)
The issue with existing stadiums is that their names are so ensconsed no one would call them anything different, which is why I laughed at Man Utd trying to curry favour with their fans about never selling naming rights to Old Trafford, strangely as the most well known stadium in the UK it is probably one of the least likley people would be interested in sponsoring as it will always just be known as Old Trafford.0 -

If it brings in finances and the Valley part is retained, bring it on. With all the tits in the Jimmy Seed Stand it could be Silicon Valley.0

Sponsoring stadiums with established names, smacks me as throwing money away, the old name sticks, a new stadium is primed for sponsorship0

What about Parade magazine. The ground could be known as Valley Parade which would please those useless BBC reporters that somehow think we are in Bradford. Meanwhile the new sponsors could do something to liven up, what is these days, a very lacklustre Valley Review.0
