Danny Wilson Sacked by Sheff Utd

Very strong rumour up here.

With United seemingly bottling it yet again.

  • I would be VERY surprised if this were true

    99.9% pal.

  • our ex player Paul Hayes scored the second goal last night
  • Strong internet Rumour.
  • He has underachieved . Wouldn't be surprised at all.
  • Would be ridiculous to do it at this stage IMO with only a handful of games left.

Don't they have 2 games in hand as well?
  • Who cares why is this even on our board....

They do, over Bournemouth with an inferior (-2) goal difference. Last night's defeat was a sickener for the blades, if they sack Wilson now they just will not get automatic and again will have the quicksand of the play offs

They seem to think Warnock will take over.

  • The next 2 Blades games are v Swindon and Brentford .. lose both/either of those and Wilson just might get the chop .. but I suspect the Utd board are too wise for that

We'll be just up the road in Chapeltown Saturday night if you fancy a pint?

It's feasible .. he is 'Mr Sheffield' after all .. (except for Owlstown of course)

That's what a lot of people thought when the Wendies changed manager last season - but Jones provided the impetus to take them past United into the 2nd automatic spot. Maybe they think someone like Warnock might make that little bit of difference to get them over the line this year. It's late in the day, but maybe worth a shot.

My missus will be happy, she's hated Wilson since he fouled one of our players in the Selhurst days !

The jailing of Ched Evans was probably a bigger factor...

Exactly. Such bad timing for them. He was flying just before his trial.

if his trial was Two weeks later it would of been different.
