    Yes it's real. She didn't want to shave as it would grow back thicker. She plucked the hair for many years, but it made her incredibly sore, so in the end she stopped.
    She now works in a circus.
    I saw the programme & am not joshing. Quite sad actually, it's due to polycystic ovaries.

    Absolutely a myth, hair folicles are hair folicles, shaving or cutting hair makes no difference to growth rate.
