I think this was in the offing right from the word go, anyone see his interview about it on Goals on Sunday a few weeks ago - gave it the big one on Leeds so obviously interested and trying to sound impressive. Fair play to him, seems a good honest bloke.0

I agree with this and wonder if McD has 'the right stuff'. Leeds is a funny club and has proved a disaster zone for many managers e.g. Cloofie .. McD is a team builder over a while and I suspect that he won't have the time for this luxury at Leeds. Also, perhaps he is too 'Southern' to succeed in the tempestuous norf .. we will see ... I see its been confirmed on the beeb, good luck to the man. Not my favourite club and I really like McDermott, maybe too sane for the Leeds job?0
