Watched most of it on the stream. Good performance, nice to keep a clean sheet. No chance of play-offs now, hope to see one or two youngsters make an appearance in the last few games.
  • Its à race for 9th now.

Fuller posed them problems and forced the save of the match.

True, but the rest of the time he was frustrating :)

Notice Gower was the first player to leave the pitch! Don't blame him

We've now conceded just one goal in the last 458 minutes of football and scored eleven in the same period. :-)

Thought we played well, had 2 /3 chances to nick it. How Marshall got Fullers shot in 2nd half i dont know - thought it was going in !

    Solly was unbelievable tonight.

Excellent point and I thought we looked comfortable.

If we can maintain this form for the final 3 games we will achieve a top half finish and end up with over 60 points. That will be a truly amazing achievement given the disruption to player recruitment and planning last summer. Great credit to SCP and his staff, and also the players. I reckon we have 4 or 5 players who are top-end Championship or higher in quality, so it is a testament to their fight and spirit that they are so robust. Just praying for some investment early in the close season so we can strengthen. That, together with the experienced gained this season could lead to a serious push for play-offs next year. Sadly, I think our poor (until recently) home form this season has cost us that chance now.

    Will we get Baldock now?

Unless their owner has big pockets can't see them doing anything next year. We were very comfortable and as said unlucky not to nick a win. Just shows the importance of a goalkeeper. Barnsley keeper had a shocker = 6-0, Cardiff keeper made a wonder save = 0-0.
    Well done boys.

Dont want to put a downer on their celebrations as they deserve to go up,but we looked comfortable tonight and i think they could be in for a long hard season,

Wouldn't mind him to be honest
  • As Obika extended Spurs deal, not sure why he is here. Azeez, silva or Pigott please. Or recall Smith who is collecting splinters.
  • Excellent result for us.

Also if 2 out of Bolton, Forest & Leicester finish higher than Palace I for 1 will be celebrating an awesome season.

    Congrats to Cardiff.

Also, a very good performance of the boys tonight -- looking forward to Saturday's game.

Playoffs this year would be great, but if we have to wait another year that is OK, I think Chris Powell has shown a lot of potential this season -- and that can show the way to a real push next season.

I feel very certain we will go up soon, and I did not expect to be feeling that before this season.

I suppose that's what being a supporter is about, right? Ups and downs. Very impressive play today :)

We have come on a lot the last few weeks. We are really tough to beat (away!)... we just need a bit more cutting edge in the final 3rd next season to get some more results at home and we could have a good chance of making the play offs.

Is there any chance we can hang on to Solly for one more season?! That would be massive. If we keep him and Powell picks up a couple of clever midfield / attacking options...

Did you see how they celebrated holding us to a 0-0 at the end. Shows how much they feared us after the 5-24 drubbing we gave them at the valley.
  • Only saw buferring video with pop-up but was pleased to see bodies forward when attacking and dwfenders in their half. Catalyst of our turnaround?
  • We never lose with Andy Hughes..........

Lets finish above Palace- 2 draws and 2 defeats from their last 4 (reasonable call on current form) and we can do them.

they're 8 points in front of us we have 3 games left .... so they've gotta draw 1 and lose 3 while we win 3 and make up their goal dif which is 8 better than ours ... not gonna happen unfortunately

watched a stream that was reasonable and thought a draw was a fair result and with a bit of luck we may have nicked it
well proud of the season we've had just wanna finish above the scum but if they win all 5 of their games they might make the play offs lose em and they may go down !
think palace will still make the play offs so there's still plenty of anguish and pain to be had cos of them pair of keyunts but as far as Charlton are concerned job done
wouldn't be the end of the world if wolves beat us on saturday and closed the gap on the scum ....

    7th-12th 60% .... 13th-21st 40%
