Do you think they debated it on line for a couple of weeks and then decided to ignore the boring fuckers who said no ?
Lol, I do not know who you are referring too.
One of the most cringeworthy threads ever on Charlton life, which is saying something! Weren't people booing the invaders at Carlisle and booing them!!?
Agreed. Without doubt the most embarrassing discussion we've had on here in years.
I found it strange that a few of them felt the need to come over and give it to us with a few hand gestures rather than just enjoy promotion. They are Welsh I suppose.

Must have missed you starting off ours then.
Oh no, that's right you prefered to stay in your seat as the club asked like everyone else so that we could get the trophy and thank the players properly for their efforts.

Even though the trophy was presented the home game AFTER we had actually won it....?

Must have missed you leading the charge too.
I give up...I can see which way this thread is going.
Re NV, they came spilling onto the pitch including some local likely lads affiliated to the bigger local sides.
15 or so of ours entered as well before the locals found that invisible wall on the edge of the penalty box. OB then moved in to disperse them.
Was nearer 200 there. Lot stood on the side paddock which was the same side as the TV cameras, so didn't appear at all. You're right though was only about 100 behind the goal.
No punches were swung from either side - just a lot of argy bargy, pointing, gesturing, surging, verbals etc. Yes it did look like their family stand but there were plenty of handy looking, willing blokes in there happy to partake in the above. For someone who hates everything Cardiff City, I thought their stewards were decent (it helped they hated cardiff too).
''The Charlton fans tried swinging punches across to our fans in the family stand at one point.''
really?
Really strange atmosphere in that end yesterday, I was stood right by the fence next to the home family section and there was a bit of the standard jokes flying over back and forth with family types in their end but there was a few in there who seemed willing to have a actual go back, ended up in an argument with some guys/girls in front of us and a fella in their end which then saw people approaching the netting from either side but nothing really happened.
Not a clue. It seemed to get a bit heated after we sang 'you took it up the arse for foreign cash' or whatever it was.
The city was absolutely dead after the game, found one pub open which was full of home fans. Was alright though, quite friendly and they didn't mind us being in there.

Can't stand the club and it's fans so got out that ground prompto. Decent performance mind from us.

The fact that I had to sit in the West Upper for the game slowed me down a bit as well.

"Apart from that ' pleasently plump' geeza in the pink Jacamo shirt, there were 2 charlton birds having a punch up with each other."
I could hear on the net, the Cardiff fans singing very loudly about the fat bloke. Sounded like the whole ground joined in.

One of the birds was a piiiiiiiiece though.
