Typical end of April park pitch conditions, lack of grass, hard and bumpy not helped by the wind. Spoke to JJ afterwards who said it does not encourage you to want to get the ball down and play. He felt a slight niggle in his hamstring and came off as a precaution. Better second half, Dervite was tops for me closely followed by the two full backs and a refreshing cameo from Green. Job well done by CP whom I told you in the preview match thread would allow no slacking or Deckchairs :-)

poor game but we have had so many of these go against us at home this season so makes a change to get 2 in a row where our effort justified the results .Obika has got us 4 points now ,think hed be good to have a round next season

Hughes said he'd just tweaked him hamstring and seemed pretty confident he'd be ok. Jacko seemed calm enough with his as well

I remember last season comments to the effect that playing badly and still winning was the mark of a champion.

Neither Hughes nor JJ went down the tunnel straight away after coming off, which suggests their problems weren't too bad.

Strange that any Charlton fan would say that yesterday was the worst we had played at home all season as claimed on the Wolves forum!

Forest at home springs to mind for me.
