Greenwich to Whitstable - Cycling

Planning on doing this ride first week in June.

Any of the long distance cyclists on here done it? What is the route like? Is it tough or a comfortable run?

Anyone with a map of the route who can share it?

Here you go, this is the scenic route...

We took a wrong turn at Aylesford...but you can see that on the map. There may be a more direct route across the bit from Aylesford to Maidstone but thats the route we took that day. The big climb of the route is in Hollingbourne, bit of a lung buster but its not too bad.

Its a really nice ride. Once you've done Hollingbourne Hill its downhill all the way in to Whitstable.

    Hope that helps :)

(Oh and if you dont fancy cycling back, ride another 10 miles in Canterbury and then you can get the train back to Orpington!)

Not sure that's true actually unless the cyclist has no legs.
