Strangely I actually find it boring playing as Charlton in FIFA, I find it more rewarding to take a smaller L1 or L2 team I have a soft spot for to glory.
Playing as Hartlepool at the mo in L1 (legendary difficulty) currently sitting around 10th in the table halfway through the season, hoping to put a run late together and surge into the playoffs.

OP - Just started a career as Atletico, can't be bothered to go down to L1 on this one. Might well do on Fifa 14 though. Woking and Kettering were always my lower league teams of choice, but not in the league any more!
pls better stats for us in 14
In my view if anyone is spending that long on a video game playing by themselves they are probably, depending on one's view, missing out on doing other things.
It's only my view, but I know plenty of people that reached middle age and wondered where all the years went when they meet others that have done so many amazing things. As enjoyable as it is to spend a couple of hours a month playing FIFA I do have other things in my life.
I opened the thread as I am interested in what others on here do. I just didn't expect to read that someone was spending as long on it as they seem to be. I certainly didn't intend to sound like someone's parent - I spend long enough nagging my own son to find something else to do than video games.
It is possible to save your progress in FIFA as youre no doubt aware, so what makes you think we all spend hours upon hours in front of FIFA everyday to the exclusion of everything else??
Personally I spend maybe 3 hours a week playing FIFA. A WEEK. Spread across the 7 days when I can be bothered.
the tactics to a 1-1-1-1-1-4-1 formation?
no?
just me then..
Besides, is it any worse than visting an internet forum 3,000 times (not including when you've remained logged in)?
