Hull v Cardiff & Watford v Leeds

Why were Hull v Cardiff allowed to start the second half when the world and his wife knew that Watford v Leeds would be starting their second half about eight minutes later. Surely Hull and Cardiff should have waited until the other game kicked off to start. Watford knew that with Hull drawing they only needed a goal to be promoted so giving them a big advantage. Right?

Not much of an advantage to Watford imo. They still had to put the ball in the net either way, didn't get it and actually conceded one instead.

To lose one goalkeeper is careless .. to lose two is just sheer negligence. And, you would not expect to keep warmed up and fired up players in the dressing room for over 1/2 an hour at 1/2 time.
