Bad idea in my opinion. Enjoy the moment. If you're tha desperate for info bring a radio.

Why bring a radio when you can get the info on your phone?

The survey is really taking off - fast approaching 1,000 responses.

There are many, many comments and ideas which we will filter for a final report to share with both fans and the club once we close the survey later in the month.

Perhaps the Trust can raise this with the club, its almost like the survey is a way of getting fans views and ideas and actually listening to fans- its not about a little committee, its about the fans that is why we have done these surveys, and no one else has. I don't actually mind how in reality but this and other ideas that come out of the survey will be examined, that is kinda the point.

Our next survey will go much further, wait and see..
  • I find that my phone (with Vodafone) works perfectly during the game it's just at half time and full time that it slows down.

In all honesty I wouldn't pay £1 per game for access as it's only for a few minutes that I can't get it for free (part of my phone contract).

However, if enough people did sign up for it and leave the 3G network less stressed so that my phone works then I would be more than happy with that.

Is this thread representative enough of addicks at matches (it probably is but there might be bigger issues with higher priority)?

They have two WIFI connections for Sky in the East Stand gantry. It would be useful if someone can find out the password to log on. And of course let all the East Stand Ultras know!

I rather like the idea of being out of touch for a couple of hours don't really understand people who have to be "on line" all the time. Enjoy the football and get a life for gods sake!

The club could offer free wifi to those who agree to allow themselves to be marketed to by CAFC and 'selected' business partners.

Could be a money maker if planned correctly.

The only issue I could see is that one person could buy a season pass of wifi, but then tell everyone else the password, losing the club money.

better to use a BT wifi system that those with an account could use depending on investment required, but even better would be a system that cost fans nothing and earned the club something if it exists.

I always find it strange when you see some people spending almost the whole of a match messing around with their phone. Why pay to attend a match if you're going to spend the whole time using your phone?

I really think the the whole match day experience really matters, and all these ideas make up the part of that big and small. If we can get that right and persuade CAFC to make the necessary changes including pricing we could make a big difference to attendances and revenue. Brighton among others have shown the way, but its up to us the fans to do this part of it.

Most people have ignored ooaah early comment about Lords and also subsequent comments...Lords have same capacity as us - its obviously feasible, and cant cost much if they are giving it away free.

Bring back the half-times on a-z boards around the ground , Palace style, with Pom-pom girls dressed like Superwoman , blasting out We are The Champions.
    Hmmm, i'll get my coat.
