Brian Greenhoff passes away

Just saw the Mick McManus thread and now Brian Greenhoff at the age of 60. Remember watching him growing up & he was part of the team that played us the year they came down in 74/75. Rest In Peace

Presumably you're talking about The League Cup game, as we didn't play them in the league.

I remember playing them CE but, unfortunately, I'm not one of those who can remember the exact details of every game I've seen since 1970.

Just sad to see someone pass away who had been around during my early years as a fan, and at a relatively young age.

One of my first memories of the FA Cup was 1977 when they beat Liverpool, if I remember right. His brother JImmy scored I believe.
