I have a load of sanding of painted (and new) wood to do to get ready for gloss painting. Not everything will be handily laid flat, for example wooden walls and doors and skirting boards are upright. Is there a decent machine for an amateur like me to buy that is simple to use, and take the strain out of the job? Also which should come first, emulsion of the walls or gloss on the woodwork? I always thought gloss first as it is easier to wipe off flicks of emulsion from gloss, than flicks of gloss from the emulsion.
