Longer Lives

longerlives.phe.org.uk/
An interesting set of statistics giving the breakdown of causes of premature death in various areas. It seems Greenwich is a place to avoid along with the North West and, in particular, Blackpool.
Also a few stand out death hot spots in the South, like Brighton.
So, what are the causes? Is it just poor lifestyle choices, or maybe patchy NHS quality, or can voting Labour or Green actually be bad for your health?

But supposing you moved from an area that had a life expectancy of 80 to one of 90 and got killed by a raging bull at 62. Just goes to show you cant have faith in government statistics.

Brighton has a big homeless and drug problem so that probably explains that a little
