    I'm shocked just now. Brilliant actor. Only 51 as well, thought he was older than that. Thoughts go to his family.

    My favourite ever actor.

    Wasn't into the celebrity bullshit, there are very few interviews with him as was a private family man.

    He always stuck up for serving US service personnel as felt they had been dumped on and also the regular working man.

    51 is far too young an age to go.

    Gutted.

    Great actor The Sopranos was a truly great TV series and his character made it.

    I also thought he was older than 51 and as I'm 53 next month it makes you think.

    Shocked to wake to this news. Don't think anyone could have played the role of Tony Soprano any better..................

    Can't believe he was only 37 when he started filming the sopranos.

    He was third choice for the role i think. Ray liotta and some other bloke turned it down!

    Had a daughter only 9 months old, very sad.
