I caught this on the Today programme just as I was leaving the house. Even Evan Davies was a bit speechless after playing the tape.

Sample "Fitzgerald asks Bowe how he came up with the 7 billion figure. Bowe responds that like then-CEO David Drumm, he picked it out of his "arse."
OK it is Ireland, not the UK. But I think the attitude is common to top bankers everywhere. I ought to be used to it by now, but I am still gob smacked that they did all this and got away scot-free while we all pay the price.
