Newport County have completed the signing of teenage goalkeeper Jamie Stephens after he was released by Liverpool. Manager Justin Edinburgh has added the youngster to his squad in League Two as they prepare for life back in the football League. Stephens, 19, was signed by Liverpool in April 2010, having been spotted at Swindon Town. Liverpool loaned him out to Welsh side Airbus UK Broughton in January 2013. He was released by Liverpool this summer.
