    Brilliant. Actually I was thinking about this today and my conclusion was this. When the chant started it was like a real like song, a true epic, sung more or less at its correct speed. Now it's sung like we're on speed, or otherwise that it's a chore and something to get done and out of the way. It's a half-hearted effort. We need to take pride in the song again and sing it clearly and slowly. The reason the clapping began was because it was acknowledged by all that a real effort had been made. Now there's much less effort and some pathetic whimsical clap.
