Hamer 6.5 No faults, but had good cover
Wilson 7 Good in defence got up well
Evina 7.5 Looked like he could fill in for Wiggins anytime
Cort 7 Titan at the back, looked a bit leggy at times but made up for any issues quickly
Wood 8 Right from the start looked confident in the tackle and on the ground
Green 7 Big deflected goal, bu drifted in a lot.
Hollands 7.5 Whole team ticked around him. Released Dale to play further forward.
Stephens 7 Good passing performance, like him in a bit more of an advanced position
Cook 7 Best player in the first half, faded dramatically though.
Pigott 8 Got it all. Big and strong, beat a man and confident enough to grab the pen. Terrible effort though, he got a bit lucky there.
Church 7 Took a couple of his chances and worked very hard. Good showing.

Hamer - 7.5. The only thing he had to deal with was the Oxford fans debating his sexual orientation
Wilson - 8. Good at both ends of the pitch and worked well with Green
Evina - 7. Got into good attacking positions, but end product was not there. Defended well.
Cort - 7.5. Got beaten a few times in the air against a bald midget, but was solid all game
Wood - 8. Very vocal and got stuck in. Always available for a pass.
Green - 7.5 Worked hard. Still tries to score form every corner and free kick though (and got one!)
Hollands - 7.5. Tackled and passed all game, outpaced a little.
Stephens - 7. Started well with crisp passing and hassling the oppo, faded in 2nd half.
Cook - 7. Looked a new player, took the full back on and won most times.
Pigott - 8.5 (MOM). Ran the line and held the ball up as well as I've seen in a while. Link up play was also very good.
Church - 8.5. Two goals and was a pest all game running off the shoulders of the defenders. Would have been MOM without that tap in miss.

    Sordell n/a - Looked useful.
    Harriotts n/a - Looked pacy.
Cousins n/a - Looked a skillful player, good skill to win the pen. Should be a squad player this season.

Hamer 7 Not called upon to do much but looked comfortable when passing ball around between the defence.
    Wilson 7 Good performance.
evina 7 Looked comfortable and gave good display.
    Cort 7 Good commanding performance.
    Wood 7 Looked very impressive.
Green 7.5 A very good game and well taken goal.
Hollands 7 Linked up well with Stephens. Back to his old form.
Stephens 7.5 Again, back to his old form and must be in contention for a return to the first team.
Cook 6.5 Quiet 1st half but really started to look dangerous in 2nd half before he went off injured.
Pigott 8 Very impressive. Difficult to dispossess and linked up well with Church.
Church 7.5 Took both goals well and looks to be a good signing.

Hamer 7 Clean sheet ,played well
Wilson 7 Showed good understanding with Green
Evina 7.5 Glad he is still with us but better going forward than defensively
Cort 8 Emmense and put his body on the line a few times
    Wood 7 Solid debut
Green 7 Looked dangerous all night
Hollands 8 Back to the Danny we saw in 11/12, but was it because of the standard of opposition ?
Stephens 7 Effective good range of passing
Cook 8 Best game I have seen him play for Charlton
Pigott8 Excellant debut like to see him on bench until we get a full compliment of strikers
Church8.5 Drops .5 for the missed sitter

    Sordell Still bedding in
Harriott Looked dangerous in his cameo
Cousins Good to see another youngster make his debut

Hamer 6 Not really tested, did not come out for a few that he might have done
Wilson 5 Solly please don't go. Got skinned a few times, better going forward
Evina 7 Class act, one position we can afford to let somebody go in (that would be you Whiggins)
Cort 7 Captain's performance, nearly got killed with one block and a 35 shot threatened the Thames Barrier
Wood 7 Solid, looks a good back up
Green 6 Tries things others don't, like scoring direct from corners, but inconsistent
Hollands 5 Poor, even at this level, time to go
Stephens 6 50% mean and threatening, 50% ineffectual
Cook 7 Surprise of the night for me especially in the first half
Pigott 7 Surprisingly maybe for a big man he is better with the ball at his feet
Church 7 Took 2 out of 3 chances, looks a good signing

Would have liked to see more of Cousins, who won the penalty, he looks a great prospect

Hamer 6.5 Not a great deal to do, but if CP didn't trust Pope to be in goal against Oxford, I'm sure we will see another keeper at the club before the window closes.

Wilson 7.0 Probably the best I have seen him play at right back

Evina 7.5 If this guy matures, we could have a real player on our hands. One piece of skill and trickery in the first half absolutly skinned their full back and he put in a decent cross. Don't want Wiggy to go but if he does we have a ready made replacement.

Cort 7 Don't quite understand all the MOM comments on here, twice in the first half he was fannying about with the ball and got rollocked by Stephens on both occassions, but apart from that he was steady.

Wood 6.5 Steady but not overly impressive

Green 7.5 Our Marmite player, can't understand the comments with regards him shooting from corners, they twice caused absolute havoc in the Oxford six yard box.

Hollands 7.5 Had a decent game, if only he had an extra yard of pace.

Stephens 7.5 Looked like he had a point to prove, had a good game but his passing backwards can be tiresome at times.

Cook 7.0 Probably the best game I have seen him play for us, worked hard, neat and tidy without really creating anything

Pigott 7.5 The guy has great potential, but he is not ready for the first team yet. Would definately benefit from a loan spell if we can sign another forward for the first team. Bit one paced.

Church 7.5 In between two great goals he missed an absolute sitter, runs the channels well but didn't win a header all night. Should be an asset to the first team once he is match fit.

Would have liked to have seen more of Cousins who I think has real potential.

Couldn't say that anyone was outstanding enough for MOM, but a number played very well.

Hamer 6.5 Not a lot to do, but what he needed to do, he did with confidence. Made one excellent save, diving at the forwards feet.
Wilson 6 Decent but quiet game
Evina 7.5 Saw a lot of the ball & his attacking was very good.
Cort 6 Solid, but may have struggled against better opposition
    Wood 6 See Cort
Green 8 Very good game, created a lot. Still over hit crosses, but one of his best games for Charlton.
Hollands 6.5 Much more involved 2nd half. Seemed off the pace a touch 1st half.
Stephens 7.5 I 'm not a fan, but had a good game. Got more involved and tackled more. Good passing. Ran the 1st half.

Cook 6 1st half didn't do much, but 2nd half got more involved. He's bulked out a fair bit, which will help him.
Pigott 6 Lot of effort & did ok for his professional debut. But he did seem a little lost & lacking in confidence. Really pleased they let him take the pen, which he scuffed, but luckily the keeper dived over the ball.

Church 7.5 Looking fit now & did very well. Should have had a hat trick. Definitely should be on the bench Saturday. Really pleasing to see.

    * Special shout out for Jordan Cousins. He was only for 5 mins & did a lovely run, getting brought down for the penalty. Looks like he can make things happen. I'd definitely have him on the bench if possible.

evina 8 Not quite sure why everyone is bigging him up - definitely 2nd choice to Wiggins
Cort 8 (put himself on the line to stop potter late on - also loved him giving in to the crowd to have a ridiculous shot)
    Wood 8 Looked comforable
Green 7.5 Bit invisible first half but got into the game 2nd half I thought
Hollands 6 probably the least effective midfielder I thought
Stephens 8.5 Excellent passing ability. Like others have said, a level above everyone else
Cook 8 Closed down well, really wanted the ball
Pigott 7 Didn't look out of place at all
Church 8 Two clinical finishes it has to be said

Hamer - 6 Not quite at his sharpest but good enough. Important influence on the field.
Wilson - 7.5 Defended pretty well and knicked a few balls in tight areas. Good crossing.
Evina - 7 Must be the fastest player at the club. Would be 1st choice at many other clubs.
Cort - 8 Nullified most of the Oxford threat and his last ditch tackle in the 2nd half was excellent.
Wood - 7 Got wrong side for Oxford's best chance in the 1st half but basically looked assured. Read the game well and picked the bits up. Also looked comfortable on the ball. Reminded me of Paddy McCarthy (in one of his better games...)
Green - 7 Frustrated the manager and his team-mates at times because he sometimes chose the harder option but still had a decent game. Does leave his full-back a bit exposed at times though.
Hollands - 7.5 Lots of donkey work and sensible passing. Always made himself available. Great covering tackle when Cort was stripped.
Stephens - 8 Reminded me of his performance away to Chesterfield...just looked a cut above. Intercept, pass, move and sometimes shoot/create.
Cook - 7.5 Got fully involved. Very quick feet and has a lot of potential. Seems to have a good football brain on him too.
Pigott - 7 Got better as game went on. Struggled to begin with because he was too static and didn't show for the ball. Once he started moving he was fine and looked to have a fair amount of skill to go with his size. Didn't look good in the air though, so that needs quite a bit of work.
Church - 8 Lurked brilliantly (like Obika or BWP of old....) and picked up the bits in the area. Two good finishes and positionally knew exactly what he was doing. Shame about his miss from Pigott's great low cross but he played very well.

Sordell.....Came alive in the box. Very tricky and looked pretty sharp.
Cousins....Get him out on loan. He's ready to be tested regularly against the likes of Oxford.
Harriott - Keen enough and we've got to be careful not to blow him out. Cook MAY have played his way onto the bench as cover.
