So apparently Palace want to groundshare with us, whilst their Bet12 stadium is being built on the current Selhurst Park...

To be fair, they only really have the choice between Millwall and us...I don't think I would be in favour of this? Or will the money coming in be welcome?!

not a chance (I hope) .. unless the club is absolutely desperate for the money .. Palace can ground share with Brighton, Crawley, Inverness or Plymouth

My mate just randomly rang me and told me. He rang me about Jerome Thomas before he signed. Not sure how he gets all his info. I didnt even know Palace were planning on extending? They must think they have a great chance of staying up?! Haha...I can't see it either, but thought I would put it up though!

£10m a game and they can only play their games on a Monday at 9 o'clock in the morning after Paddy has had his breakfast and fag...

Wonder what his next bit of gossip will be in another 10 years?
  • Where is the source of this 'groundshare', all i can see is that Palace are selling naming rights to Selhurst Park and it'll now become the '12Bet stadium'.

Unless your ground is renamed from the beginning like the Emirates or the Etihad, then naming rights are complete b*llocks anyway, everyone will still call it selhurst.

Did anyone ever call St James' park the sports direct stadium?

Who knows...as soon as he told me, I did laugh, thought I would share! :D

  • They're getting rid of their wooden seats.

  • If it does happen which is very doubtful, can you opt out of having one of the stripey's backsides sitting in your seat if you have a season ticket. You'll end up with a spotty arse.

Arrgh, sort of forgot what an awful shithole that place is. Breakfast in bin.

I'd put a massive dollop of super glue on mine in readiness for the Palarse bum.

Is that not just the away end after the red division had finished with it last season?
  • I think if it was serious then it could happen tbh

We are hemorraging money and would have an income every week of the season

Local business would also gain with the away fans

    It has business sense

I would hate it but it makes sense

But I really do not know if it has any substance, I am just passing on a conversation I had with a Palace fan.

It does indeed make sense financially, but I hope it doesn't happen...

Can't see it considered let alone happen. It would make more sense looking at fulham. Palaces owners are no mugs and know on so many levels it won't be worth considering. And then you have to consider the police view and Greenwich councils view.

TBH it would make business sense. If they were in the PL they could easily afford the rent which we would benefit from

Can we agree to it and then kick them out half way through the season?

Agree with BigRedEvil I wouldn't like it but if we could income to improve our squad etc. it has to be worth considering
