Last month I received a letter from the DWP advising me of the changes to the pension age for women and that I will not receive my pension until the age of 66.
Today I have received another letter from them, which is EXACTLY the same. What a waste of tax payer's money. I thought that waste in government departments was being reduced - seems nothing changes except having to wait longer before we can retire.

I know young people today will have to work longer still, but at least they will have had plenty of time to get used to that.
I'm still going to try to go at 60 as you only get one life.
Good luck with that one.
Then there is the £5 billion spent on the work programme for the long term unemployed. It has a success rate of less than 5% - less than the numbers who were getting jobs of their own accord before the scheme begun. Still, the consultants and contractors who donate to the big parties get massive contracts and taxpayer money out of it.
God I sound 50 don't I?
