There should be subtitles when Carra is speaking. It's just a series of wibbles and high-pitched squeaks flying out of his mouth at 90 miles an hour.
how DID he get the job ..must be a YTS type scheme for aging scousers .. good player, but so far a 'kin awful pundit ..AND he's got a column in one of the daily rags
God knows. It's going to be incredibly annoying listening to his voice every week. I always look forward to hearing G Nev's tactical analysis though.
As for his column, hopefully he can type clearer than he speaks!
he sounds like Henry Blofeld compared to Carra !!! .. although (I am not on a whinge night honestly).. Nevilles' John Cooper Clarke Mancunian tones are wearing a bit thin on my lug'oles
From BBC Sport: Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says Arsenal's bid for midfielder Yohan Cabaye had a "huge bearing" on his side's 4-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Yeah, sure you would have won with Cabaye, that was the difference, not City being by far the better side.
Chelsea were ok against a poor Hull team. Citeh were ok against an even poorer Barcode tea. United did it easily against a quality team. If you had to put money on the Title after one weekend you would have to go for United........might change this weekend though!

City were very slick and would have looked good against any side the other night.

Agree City looked good, but their squad isn't as strong as the team - Toure or Fernandinho get injured and I'm not sure they'll do as well with Garcia or Rodwell, and they'll miss Kompany a lot in the next couple of weeks.
The same could be said for United and Van Persie or Carrick (unless they sign a decent midfielder this month).
Chelsea, to me, look the strongest squadwise. But then people might not pick up those injuries etc - will be a much more interesting title race than last year, I think.
