Fed up with the train and I've been driving in so far this season. Come in on the A2 and normally use Hervey Road and walk but been trying out parking in Plumstead near Lakedale and getting the bus (free bus pass
).
Fine except last week I jumped on the first bus after the game and ended up half way to Thamesmead before I got off and had to back track to Plumstead0 -

If you don't mind paying, parking in the West Stand car park would be the most stress-free option. £36 mind.0

I’ve parked near the McDonald’s/Smyths Toys for as long as I can remember
Finally got a ticket from the Sheff Wed game a few days ago so I need a plan B, preferably that side of the ground to get out to the Blackwall Tunnel
Happy to pay for a car park as long as it’s a reasonably quick getaway0 -

We've always parked in the Ropery Business Park just down from Makro's.

The people running it have changed since I last drove to the ground in February last year, so I was a bit unsure if there was still parking there on matchdays, but I was fine there for the first two home games of the season.

I’ve been parking down Anchor and Hope Lane. Need to get there around 13.30 to get a space though. Been having a coupe of drinks in the Anchor pub to kill a bit of time as well.0

I still managed to get a space even then though. I normally aim for 2pm otherwise. Hope that helps!0 -

I think the Ikea car park allows parking up to five hours but you need to check. Handy for Blackwell tunnel.0

May even be easier to get away afterwards from there.0 -

I've always found there are most places in the car park where the buses terminate, which is the first car park on the right hand side if you have entered Baker Road from Shooters Hill.
This is of course the furthest from The Valley.0 -
