Summary
Charlton brought their run of three defeats to an end, but despite their best efforts could not secure the three points their effort deserved. Big step up in performance, with a hugely supportive crowd playing their part. A change in formation saw a diamond shape brought to midfield, and Dale Stephens and young Jordan Cousins shining, supported by an impressive performance from Richard Wood at the back. Another day it could, and should have been three points.
