Addicks to take on West Ham in behind-closed-doors game on Thursday afternoon
Iain Liddle reports
Charlton make the trip to West Ham United on Thursday afternoon (1pm) for a behind-closed-doors friendly clash.
With both sides out of the action this weekend due to the international break, the game provides an opportunity to stay match sharp and the Addicks team is likely to be made of a mix of first team and development squad players.
Please note that supporters will not able to watch the match live and will be refused entry if they arrive at Upton Park.
Fan can, however, follow match updates on the club’s officialTwitterandFacebookpages - as well as read a live interactive blog.
Those who wish to have their say and get involved in proceedings should log on to www.cafc.co.uk from around 12.45pm to follow updates, ask questions and see pre-match photos and video clips from the club’s Instagram and Vine accounts.
Shortly after the final whistle an in-depth match report and full match reaction will be available on www.cafc.co.uk and CAFCPlayer.
Wherever you are, however you follow, you need not miss a kick thanks to www.cafc.co.uk, CAFCPlayer and @CAFCOffial

We (fans) can't go and watch this...because why? We will reveal footballing secrets?
Seems a bit OTT, but there may be reasons I haven't heard of.0 -
It doesn't take police, stewards or catering teams to work on a behind close doors friendly, does it? The purpose is fitness, right? Not entertainment, or money-making?0
-
Behind closed doors
At Upton Park so easier not to open the ground as don't need stewards, gate staff etc
Maybe playing trialists (them) or bringing people back from injury (us) that the clubs don't want seen
No big deal

Because we need to keep our superstar trialists out of the public eye0
-
We all know it's because West Ham are running scared. They don't want anyone witnessing the humiliation when we romp to victory!! ;o)0
-
Solly to sign pre-contract agreement following the match.0
