He can do it from a deadball as well, ridiculous power.
I recently read his book, not the best of reads but interesting. He used to sit studying Ronaldo, repeatedly watching his goals on video, then practice them on the playgrounds in the slums of Malmo. When picked up by Malmo as a youth he was told to forget the skills, play for the team, etc etc.
Meanwhile he faced castigation for being from a poor immigrant background rather than being a well-to-do Swede whose daddy would come and watch him play. Those who tried to bring/keep him down must be feeling like utter dickheads now.
Zlatan may lack the consistency of Ronaldo and Messi but for outright skill, class and audacity I think he's the best out there. Off the top of my head I can think of three other beautiful backheeled goals from him which is insane.
Not saying he does not score some blinders, but how many times has he tried and made and air shot/found row z? We probably don't usually get to see those ones...

As everyone he is prone to missing but he's never been someone to spray five from long distance in hope of one going in. Flicks and touches are just what he does, a bad game for him is to walk around like he's sulking.

Apparently the hardest hit goal ever at 130mph+.
