Didn't realise the even while the war was still being fought the British knew about the killings and Anthony Eden (Foriegn Secretary) spoke in Parliament saying we'd hunt down the fascists who did it.
I thought it was Paul Brickhill (who wrote "The Great Escape") who wrote a follow-up about how the perpetrators of the massacre were tracked down. I could be wrong about the author though.
I didn't realise it was on, and only caught the last few minutes, but due to all the great new channels then watched it on 4+1. Can't believe how the sand moves so much and that 21st century machinery couldn't do what just a few men could do 70 years ago with their bare hands.
