  • Cheers Paulie good write up as ever, now we have a while for the new season and start with qualifiers again maybe end of month? haven't quite looked at schedule yet.

Riga Masters qualifiers start 2nd July

But for all those worried about missing my updates thanks to Mr Hearn I now have more work with the creation of The Challenge Tour
  • There are actually 129 players on Tour as James Wattana has been given a 2 year invitational tour card(now we know why he wasnt in Q School)

    Any idea why?
  • There are actually 129 players on Tour as James Wattana has been given a 2 year invitational tour card(now we know why he wasnt in Q School)

    Any idea why?
Because of who he is and what he has done to the game in Asia.

Jimmy White and Ken Doherty both went off tour last year but they also got these special 2 year invitationals and are currently in there 2nd years
  • @johnnybev1987 you spoken to Charlie Waters lately.

I noticed he is in the 1st round of the 1st Challenge tour event and wondered what he thought of it
  • Interesting start to the 1st Challenge Tour Event, considering the top 2 at the end of the seasin get tour cards.

    No Live Scores
    No Referee's
No Water for players(thats come from someone playing)

nope he stopped playing when i started playing, when i was 18 so our paths have not crossed. I have spoken via twitter a few times, but not properly.

Bit of a shambles first event, but hopefully its just a start and will get better.

  • Cheers Paulie...

Read this name a bit different to how it should be pronounced, i assume: Jiankang

TBH I am reserving trying to pronounce his name until I hear it,
This was his 1st match on the tour since November 2017 his only other matches were

    China Championship 2016
    Beat Ross Muir 6-3
    Lost to Stuart Bingham 6-1

    Q School 1 2017
    Lost to Steven Hallworth 4-0

    Q School 2 2017
    Lost to Fraser Patrick 4-0

    Shanghai Masters Qualification
Lost to Billy Joe Castle 5-2

He is only 19 so has time to improve and has a 2 year tour card he also got his 1st pro century in the 4-3 defeat in Riga Qualifying.

IMO I would say it was G-AN-KANG
