How the hell would reams know

The same reason you, me and the cat's mother will be aware.

Things leak out. Always have, always will.

Whether what leaks out is the whole story, only time and hindsight will prove.

You have to think that Jiminez and Slater have been using the Penninsula as the maggot on their line.

That is what I would use to catch a big fish.

Was trying to think why Comcast would be interested, but they have been spending on football. They merged with NBC in 2009, and therefore have just outbid Fox for premiership rights. Still can't see a huge amount if logic in the move unless they hope to get more leverage with the premiership by eventually owning a prem team.

Comcast & IVG being said on IITV. Both multibillionaire companies - waiting to be let down again!

IVG do have a London office. As far as I'm aware they are more involved in asset management and I don't think they are involved in sport elsewhere. I'd be surprised if it is them.

Oh god no, comcast are a terrible, terrible company. Ripping off americans for the past decade with terrible broadband speeds and have been allowed to monopolise the market there. They're very well known for being crooks by many americans. Just do a quick google.

Almost certainly isn't them, but hey.
  • do me a favour, who gives a flying fcuk about broadband speed, can't have them if they provide slow broadband speed, absolute cads.

Do you really think a company that have said "People don't want fast internet" and are the reason American internet speeds lag far behind even our speeds are know a single thing about running an honest company? And they're meant to be a cable company first and foremost, they can't even do that right.

Of course they have interests such as Universal Studios to look after. So americans will probably stream movies from netflix rather than shelling out $15 to the cinema, most of which goes to the studio.

Honestly if you think the current lot are bad, look forward to your season ticket skyrocketing in price and even further squad "trimming" in the summer with comcast.

  • If there is a Philadelphia link, then maybe the Kraft Group who are into both real estate development and professional sports. Rumoured to be interested in Liverpool,a few years back before the other Americans took ownership there.
  • Any update on the Abba reunion?

Sorry AFKA, don't know either parties so will keep schtum on that matter.

Are people really bothered if it isComcast due to broadband speed and customer service in America? What if someone like Apple or Coca cola tried to buy us, what uproar would there be then? Maybe we need a short list of ethical companies to take us over.

  • Another upside of a takeover by(allegedly) this huge anonymous company is a shirt sponsor with a presence(no disrespect to Andrews) - we are also the easiest club to acquire in London as the others are too big /too small plus our location is great. Forgetting the ground moving issue, our club could be on the brink of something special

And without taking QAs humour too seriously it isn't the seating areas that are the problem, rather the relative lack of lounges, bars, toilets, food outlets, exec boxes, hotels rooms, office space etc.

When we built the stands we didn't have a huge amount of money to spend so they are essentially shells.

Anyway, we've not been taken over and we don't know that even if we are that the new owners plan to move us. The debate is interesting but "many rivers to cross" as the great Jimmy Cliff once sang

But it could be 'Hard Road To Travel' or if a takeover occurs 'I can See Clearly Now'. Maybe Jimmy Boy is the true key to where our future lies! ;-)))
