All I said was that the way he reported the story it is CE himself that comes over as arrogant! Maybe PW was invited? Maybe he had bought the girl a present? Well we're never know as dear old CE told him to pee off and slammed the door in his face!
    Maybe it was a Paul Walsh a gram?

    My mate was there when he tried to jump over the the metal bar at Flicks straight on to the dance floor and witnessed him go flat on his arse.

    Back on topic. It was a great night and will 100% go again next year if they do the same. My Dad and I had a great time and was good to meet some fellow lifers.

    I don't know Paul Walsh outside of football. Nor do many. Read what CE said in that position rather than with prejudice and the story looks as if PW was harshly treated. All he did was introduce himself!

    Riviera, for your benefit (although I know you're on a wind up).

    Paul Walsh was not invited (I checked) and he tried to get in on the basis that he was "Paul Walsh".

    I supported Charlton back then (unlike you :-) and I was a great fan of his, until that night.

    If he'd tried to gatecrash the party in a nicer way & said come on do me a favour please & I'll tell you a few Charlton stories, I'd have let him in :-)
