Where does Jacko fit

So with Johnnie Jackson completing his suspension today where does he fit in the team now

Wilson playing very well and with Solly back at RB Wilson has to play RM
Which means probably sticking to 4-4-2 and the problem begins
We have to have Stewart/Harriott at LM I wished it was Harriott (and we all know Jacko cant play there)
Cousins has probably been the best player of the season so far and links up very well with Stephens would not want to see either dropped.

My brother had a good idea today maybe go 4-4-1-1 with Jackson just behind Kermo the only issue with that is the Church does so much running

right now? .. he fits on the bench .. there is no way that Powell should change a winning team, barring injury, no matter how much he 'loves' Jackson

Who do you take off the bench Green,Pritch or Cook
  • Fraid it has to be Cook... Although could be interesting if he plays against Oxford as another good performance could see him slowly pushing Stewart on the left

Said that to my brother at HT would like to see Cook instead of Stewart
Stewart might not be here by the Oxford game anyway if Hull decide to keep him and not loan him back to us

It's still a very long season and with injuries and suspensions to come there will be a big role for JJ to play.

Jacko is great but this tesm should start on Sunday and Jacko should fight for his place.

On the bench. That's where the injured players generally start!

I think he won't expect to make the team, but things change quickly - poor performances, sending offs, injuries and he knows his chance will come - which is a good thing.

Either way I suspect that Hull will not give us permission to play him and make him cup tied.

On the bench based on today's performance. So far off the pace.

I disagree. On that performance, working with the kids at Sparrows Lane.
  • Nowhere near the player of 2 seasons ago, worried that he's an old 31

Sadly Jackson unless he is carrying an injury is finished as a Championship footballer and the quicker CP realises this the better
  • If the takeover goes through I don't expect him to get a new contract.

He was 'finished' at the beginning of last season according to a lot on here yet still managed double figures from midfield.
  • On yesterday's showing he is finished at this level but that's just on yesterday's. A tad too early to write him off completely but I doubt he will ever be the player we have been used to seeing again. He really couldn't keep up yesterday.

Jackson's always gone through patches of form. Some games he's anonymous but when we're really looking down the barrel he's the one who pops up with important goals. The fickleness of some fans writing him off because he didn't play well in a couple of games is astonishing
