    Don't think it will ever change now.
    Don't like it myself but it seems to have snowballed and is sung by more people than most of our songs now.
    Any attempt to sing different words will be lost, hope I'm wrong.

    I've changed my mind on it, as I never used to be a fan of it. Having seen Wilson and the rest of the players embrace it on Twitter (#WilsonWonderland), it has its place now and Lawrie strikes me as the type who will take it in good humor.

    I don't like it either . Extremely patronising . Think we should do the whole 'you are the love of my life, I want long hair like you song' .we Haven't sung it or similar since bailey I think so it's due an airing

    I think the song is part of his identity now and he clearly is not shite so its just a bit of banter. He fights his own battles by his performances on the pitch. Just leave it.

    He really isn't bothered had a long chat with him at the end of the season and he doesn't mind it
    He is the nicest friendliest footballer I've ever stalked met and he was more than happy to have a chat and admitted that he was "punching" with his wife

    Only 2 LOLs for my 2014 comment, shocking!

    I'm glad Lawrie got a good reception as he was decent for us. His time at Bolton has been pretty disappointing, he hardly figured last season so I'm surprised he's still there

    Considering the complete shite we've seen in recent years ( Vaz Te etc) i respect Lawire, always tried his best and came up trumps most of the time. Wish him all the best.
