Love the bloke, but playing him left wing is like playing with ten men.

To those moaning about Parkinson, I'd like to add that we were pipped to automatic promotion on the final day by Leeds and Norwich who had the following players:

    Jonny Howson (Premier League)
    Robert Snodgrass (Premier League)
    Bradley Johnson (Premier League)
Frazier Forster (SPL + England call up)
Grant Holt (Championship but successful spell in Prem)

Let's not forget we also had Southampton to contend with:

    Jose Fonte (Premier League)
    Jason Puncheon (Premier League)
Adam Lallana (Premier League + England)
Rickie Lambert (Premier League + England)
    Oxlade-Chamberlain (Premier League + England)

Our first team on the final day of the season of that unlucky league one campaign vs Oldham was:

Randolph (Birmingham although I'll admit we had N'Castle's Elliot most of the season)
    Richardson (Middlesborough)
    Llera (Sheffield Wednesday bench)
    Semedo (Sheffield Wednesday bench mostly)
    Dailly (Retired)
    Borrowdale (Margate)
    Bailey (Millwall)
    Racon (Portsmouth)
    Wagstaff (Bristol City)
    Burton (Scunthorpe)
    Mooney (Leyton Orient)

    Parky did a great job.

Thats quite staggering actually... Dont forget Leeds also had Beckford (Championship but went to Everton) and am sure there are some more players with Norwich that were with them in League One, whilst Swindon in the Play-Off semis also had Charlie Austin (scores for fun in Champ and should be Prem)

Best thing about Jackson on the left is that he covers for Wiggins when he bombs forward, something Stewart cannot do. Jacko definitely should not be playing central midfield unless it is in a five man midfield.

Yup and didnt they have Jordan Rhodes that year too?

Yeah but he wasn't a prominent figure by any means. Odd substitute appearance.

Jackson was terrific at Huddersfield and last night he was no worse than anybody else and better than most .. he is getting some unfair stick lately .. but that is the lot of the modern footballer .. get paid a lot and take the applause and the abuse as and when it comes

I am his greatest fan but I must admit he needs some rest in the Tuesday / Saturday /Tuesday / Saturday slog .I'd bench him Saturday and hope he makes the same impact that he did at Ipswich.
