  • It's a great experience. Done it a few times over the years now. Usually go to one of the little cafe/bars dotted around and enjoy the build-up with the locals & back there after. Even the journey out from the Ramblas (Liceu Station) is all part of enjoying it.

    Have a great time!

Just don't cheer a Real goal when you're in one of those local bars. Like someone we know, TelMc32!

Indeed! I suspect we're the only ones daft enough to take an idiot with us!! ;-)
  • Done it in November... Blinding. Be sure to go on the open top bus tour. Little tapas place called irani very good novelty too, all dishes served on a baguette with their own home made cider.
  • Restaurant called "el grande cafe" is one of the best I've ever been to, little pricey though.
  • Blinding day preemie in Flaherty's bar then in a bar by the ground few beers, afterwards then back to Flaherty's for more beers
  • Saw them put 4 past Sevilla about 5 years ago now, then we found an awesome tapas place and spent the rest of the night chatting about the game, the Champion's League (they had Chelsea next, the game where Chelsea should have had about 4 pens) and old Barca with 3 of the nicest locals you could ever meet - good memories!!
  • Gonna do it again deffo

    Irati was yes, really different.

  • Basque food can be great. Sounds like you were eating pintxos (rather than tapas). Recommend the Basque country if you have not been already.
