    RD is wise, no reason to worry. Has money and spends it wisely. Wise advisors

    SL have good players.

    Hears Thuram is coming to us next week.

    No one had heard of SL coach but doing well.

    Does he makes managerial changes? Said CAFC is like a study trip, lot to learn about culture of England

    Players will build up ie from Uspest to Leige to Charlton to Prem.

    Makes a profit from young players.

    Wants to create value for each player. A footballing pyramid (which we seem to be at the top of from what the reporter is saying)

    RD in it for the long term - 10 to 15 years

    (Breaking up so missing a lot)

    RD a man of principle.

    Future for CAFC is safe in his hand. Ambition to go to EPL.

    "amused" by the fans, directors and coaches. (maybe I heard that wrong or the reporter used the wrong word)

    A businessman who wants to make a profit but has a golden heart

    Definitely he will learn CAFC history. Reads a lot of books

    - no reason to doubt RD - wise, lot of money, good advisors, makes the right decisions
    - Thuram coming to CAFC next week & maybe the Iranian striker in future
    - CAFC very new to him - wants to break even then make profit
    - wants to increase value of (young) players starting them at smaller clubs then progressing to bigger clubs - he need a 'network' to achieve this (mentioned this strategy a couple of times).
    - Network of clubs also gives a solution to players not playing
    - he thought CAFC was at the top of his network (ahead of Liege)
    - is in football for 10-15 years (incl. CAFC)
    - very much a businessman/principled but has a 'golden heart'
    - he is 'safe hands' (not another goalie!) - wants to get to the Prem - is 'amused' by CAFC management & coaching staff (I think he means likes rather than is amused by

    Sounded a bit of a PR job t mean and disappointingly no questions were asked about the new director just announced

    Hopefully you will find it wasn't a pr stunt as source was found by the charlton live team and not through officials at the club! Great interview though!
