doesn't sound good, a big miss. I'd like to see a RB on loan as Wilson is our best bet for right midfield, wasted at RB.1

Either that or we go back to 3-5-2LargeAddick said:doesn't sound good, a big miss. I'd like to see a RB on loan as Wilson is our best bet for right midfield, wasted at RB.

Got lambasted on here when said at the time we only got him to sign the extended deal it was an insurance job. Just saying like.....0

A rumour doing the rounds that he may need further surgery on his knee which sounds serious.
Fervently hope that Chris is not another Ledley King...0 -
Solly must be absolutely gutted at this setback. Good luck to him, hope for the best but not optimistic.0

Would be absolutely heartbreaking if he was forced to retire, class RB, and is definitely good enough for the premiership, what ever happens I wish him the absolute best and hope to see him have opposition players in his pocket once again ASAP. So much love for the little man.0

It's absolutely gutting and I feel for the lad, but his knee has been a mess since he was a youth player. Borrowed time now and every game a bonus. Such a shame0

            What caused the problem initially?0

Genuine question, but how would this work?bolloxbolder said:Got lambasted on here when said at the time we only got him to sign the extended deal it was an insurance job. Just saying like.....
If insuring players is anything like other cover, wouldn't a pre-existing problem like dodgy knee(s) make the insurance pretty much worthless?
Can't see how the club would benefit in any way, even if the player might?

I'm guessing but might be able to check it via a friend who works on specialist claims. Basically a player going to a new club starts over but if a player is simply signing a new contract at the same club then it MIGHT mean that the cover stays the same as nothing has changed in the relationship between club and player.
Let's hope that it is just a short term set back0 -
