Summary

An injury time leveller from Captain Jacko rescued a point for the Addicks after Richard Wood had earlier turned the ball into his own net. Charlton felt aggrieved when Cameraon Stewart was tripped in the box which should have resulted in a penalty and a sending off, but Steward was incredibly booked for diving (given the ref was Stuart Atwell, perhaps it wasn't incredible).

Despite some decent Charlton pressure in the second half, Ipswich should have put the game to bed however when Cousins tripped their player in the box, but Alnwick expertly tipped away the resulting penalty to keep Charlton in the game. In extra time, Church turned the ball back for Jacko to fire a shot that hit the net after a deflection, given Charlton a deserved three points.
