Charlton returned to league action for the first time since New Years Day, but a disappointing outing saw them return home with no points.
An injury to Hamer and a sick Alnwick meant that recent loan arrival Thuram-Ulien made his debut in goal. Unfortunately, the game was memorable for his howler which gifted Boro their winner. A 35-yard shot he was slow to get down to saw him push the ball in the net. Later in the game, Rhoys Wiggins was given a straight red for a questionable high tackle. Charlton had a couple of late chances to equalise, but it really was not their day. It never bloody is.
